Attorney Fred Kray, cohost Kris Diaz, and the rest of the PBLNR crew discuss the use of non-adoption policies to discriminate against pit bulls. Can such policies be challenged? We examine the Loius v. City of Oklahoma City case in which an appellate court ruled that a city could not violate a prohibition on BDL by claiming that not adopting out pit bulls from city shelters was a policy, not a regulation.

News this week was generally bad: Oogy died, the artists behind Act of Dog lost many paintings after snow damaged their studio, and a woman died trying to rescue her dog who had fallen through ice. In BDL news, the Lexus Project filed a lawsuit in federal court against Fall River, WI.

In training, we discuss a now-infamous youtube video of a woman being bitten in the face during an "ice bucket challenge" with Yvette Van Veen.
