Aimee Sadler is a nationally recognized dog trainer, who specializes in behavioral problems. Since 1998, Aimee's main interest has been working with dogs at animal shelters. Her vision has been to create and implement training and behavior modification programs that prove invaluable to the well being of animals in shelters. This includes helping shelters implement play groups so that the dogs can release their energy, learn social skills, and "show" better on the adoption floor. In this in depth interview, Aimee discusses her training philosophy, the issue of breed and specifically pit bulls in training and adoption, properly evaluating temperament in a shelter setting, and successfull strategies in increasing canine adoptablity in shelters.
