Lisa Edwards discusses her book A Dog Named Boo, and how this special dog who was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia changed her life and touched many others. Patience, acceptance and triumph are the themes of this frank and soul bearing book. Boo became a successful therapy dog, perhaps because of his disability. Other dogs may have been smarter and more agile, but his love of people and funny gait taught those around him that disabilities and differences can be the most powerful assets.
